General Laborer

The General Laborer performs a variety of tasks under the close supervision of higher-level employees. These tasks may include assisting with extra workload, covering absences/vacations, and supplementing crews to meet unusual changes in the production area or in the weather. They provide support in whatever area they are needed. They will also follow the schedule that they are assigned, which may include weekends and holidays. Always keeping a work friendly environment welcoming for everyone.

Job Type: Full-time

Expected Hours: 36-40 per week

Pay Range: $16.60-$22.60 per hour

Supplemental Pay:

  • Differential pay
  • Overtime pay

Work Location: In person

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Cleans and maintains GMPs and Safety standards as priority.
  • Closely Follow directions to load or unload products in assembly lines.
  • Reports any issues to Line Lead or higher-level employees.
  • Responsible for reporting and taking any necessary action to prevent food safety and food quality problems from occurring as shown by Line Lead or Supervisor.
  • Palletize cases (with boxes of 5.5 lb. to 18lb.)
  • Learn about the correct label to be applied, and make sure it happens (correct SKU)
  • Assist in replacing label, and ribbon.
  • Load/unload or stack/unstack pans from production line.
  • Load/unload oven and/or proof box.
  • Cross trained to be able to assist with other positions in the plant.
  • Back-up on absences in production or packaging positions.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Closely follows recipes and production process as instructed.
  • Must be able to read and follow written instructions.
  • Read and Record Correct material numbers and lot numbers.
  • Cross trained to assist with other positions in the plant including production or packaging positions.

Sanitation Worker

The Sanitation Worker is required to safely sanitize equipment by following processes and procedures to ensure our facility is maintained food safe and in regulatory compliance. In addition to sanitizing equipment, the job includes routine custodial services, building and grounds upkeep, tasks required according to the master sanitation schedule and supplementing crews to meet unusual changes in the production area or in the weather. They will also follow the schedule that they are assigned, which may include weekends and holidays. Always keeping a work friendly environment welcoming for everyone.

Expected Hours: 36-40 per week

Pay Range: $17.60-$24.00 per hour

Work Location: In person

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Practices and complies with all company safety rules and procedures, including but not limited to, Lock Out / Tag Out, electrical safety, personal protective equipment.
  • Sweeps, wipes, scrubs, vacuums, sanitizes, washes, and picks up as required to keep building grounds, and equipment clean and sanitary to provide an environment to produce wholesome food products meeting company, regulatory and customer standards.
  • Able to carry and move around heavy duty machinery (50 lbs.-60 lbs.)
  • Use of high-pressure Power washer.
  • Bends up and down for long periods of time depending on the area assigned to.
  • Ensures safe and proper use of tools and equipment; ensures hand tools are free of defects; maintains neat and orderly work area, including proper storage/disposal of solvents, paints, and other cleaning chemicals in accordance with OSHA, EPA and other regulatory agencies and company policy.
  • Follow direction from plant sanitation lead and sanitation supervisors.
  • Reports to Lead/Supervisor.
  • Other duties as assigned.
